STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, April 14, 2003 — The Descartes Systems Group Inc., (Nasdaq:DSGX), (TSX:DSG), a trusted provider of logistics solutions, today announced that Cargolux Airlines International, a leading provider of global cargo services, has selected logistics connectivity solutions from DSG-Tradevision, a Descartes subsidiary, to manage part of its global communications with freight forwarders over the Descartes Global Logistics Services NetworkTM (GLSN).
As the communications bridge for Cargolux and its extensive list of global forwarders, the GLSN will play an important role in ensuring the seamless flow of logistics-related information about cargo in transit helping to drive superior customer service levels and delivery performance. Used by nine of the top 15 cargo airlines in the world, the GLSN is setting the standard for air messaging connectivity enabling trading partners with different business practices and technologies to communicate.
