Implementation and Training

Implementation

Each new Descartes customer is assigned a project consultant. The relationship begins with a kick-off meeting where Descartes communicates the implementation process. We know how to ask the right questions to ensure that we thoroughly understand our client's needs so they can take full advantage of the Descartes solution. In addition, our industry knowledge and domain expertise helps move our customers through the implementation process because we understand their business.

Training

We look after the training of all our customers’ required employees. Our solutions and services are designed to be simple to use and are intuitive so they are quick to get up and running for our customers. Descartes is also continuously available to assist with any questions or support requirements on an ongoing basis.

Operational Reviews

Our mission is to help our customers reduce their operating costs, reduce complexity while improving service year over year. During implementation, we will review our customer's business practices. Based on their goals and business needs, Descartes will make recommendations and work to re-engineer some business rules in light of any new objectives. Customers can rely on the Business Intelligence and Reporting capabilities to monitor, benchmark and improve their operations on a day to day basis. We develop a performance measurement assessment using historical data, and review in detail the steps required to continuously improve our client's operational efficiency.
